Fundamental is most likely one of the most powerfully muscled, DOCILE NATURED, base wide, physically imposing sons of Resource from a $53,000 outcross dam, AC Duke Girl 57, who served for years as an embryo donor for Schaff Angus Valley, now resides at Payne Angus, OK as their lead off foundation female!  AC Duke Girl 57 records progeny weaning and yearling ratios of 109 and 107 respectively, on seven natural calves along with 13 daughters in production who post a collective progeny weaning ratio of 104!  She has generated $638,000 in total progeny receipts with an average of over $15,000 on 42 head in SAV Sales selected by cattlemen from 17 states and Argentina.
As an individual, Fundamental is extremely sound footed with excellent heel depth and square toe set.  Fundamental is a massive semen producer, averaging over 500 units per collection even factoring in that we put 40 million sperm cells per straw! His mass, power, muscularity and PRESENCE is absolutely astonishing.  With his combination of dominating phenotype, outcross bottom side pedigree and pure performance look, he is an easy choice for cattlemen looking for Resource in a more affordable price point.

Topp Republic 8062 is the most unique OUTCROSS herd bull we have brought in at Janssen Angus!  Kurt Schaff, American Angus Hall of Fame, purchased Republic for us as his pick of all bulls at the Topp Angus production sale in February 2019.  His dam is the lead embryo donor in the top program, TA Forever 3738, who records a progeny weaning ratio of 102 on her first two natural calves and is a maternal sister to Select Sires Bull, TC Thunder 805.  The grandam is a Topp foundation female bred at TC Ranch from the same cow family that also produced the high maternal Pathfinder sire, JR Juice 005!  
Republic is a high performance, Gentle Natured bull that recorded an individual IMF Ratio of 110, 924lb 205 day wt and an impressive 1430lb individual yearling weight in a program that prides itself in not overfeeding bulls on test!  We love his EXTRA FRAME, body length, superior foot quality and herd bull presence.  If structural soundness and phenotypic balance is of importance to you as a breeder, then Republic deserves a hard look.  We have not evaluated a longer strided, wider based, proud bull moving bull in years.  For breeders looking to produce show heifers, Republic has the look, presence and great hair quality and quantity needed to compete in todays competitive show ring.  The really awesome fact is that Republic had the most high quality hair of all of our herd bulls in the winter, but was the first one to shed that hair in the spring!  I was concerned about that, but as is the case with most TC Ranch bred cattle, they shed extremely well.

LT Advantage is a true OUTCROSS Heifer Bull prospect that Janssen Angus has used on our replacements.  He was selected as our pick of the Lindskov Theil production sale that combines Calving Ease, Performance and Phenotype along with incredible Carcass and Curve Bending potential.  We believe that Angus sires that are positive for CE EPD and around a 1.0 on BW EPD are heifer bull candidates and are not afraid to sample them on our own heifers.  Sometimes we as breeders and cattle industry as a whole get too wrapped up in double digit CE and negative BW EPD's!  Advantage has the look of a true heifer bull that will produce highly productive daughters with the longevity that his cow family possesses. Brent Theil says about Advantage: "He has herd bull PRESENCE with a striking look and conformation!"
